Ronald Michael Gaspar

Ronald Michael Gaspar, 70, of Morgantown, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at his residence. Ronald was born in Morgantown, WV, on September 11, 1948, the son of the late Frank Gaspar and Helene Janine Gluch. Ronald worked and retired as a locksmith from West Virginia University in 2010. He was a charismatic fun-loving man who worked hard all of his life leaving behind many lessons of love, caring, and generosity. Ronald is survived by his wife of 49 years, Roberta (Johnson) Gaspar, daughter, Sarah (Gaspar) Hitt and son, Thomas F. Gaspar. In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Michael “Mike” Gaspar, Jr., and his brother, John Gaspar. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, on Sunday, December 9, from 2 pm until the time of the memorial service at 4 pm with Brother Robert Bolyard officiating.
