Ruby Miller

Ruby Miller, 98, formerly of Easton Mill Rd., Morgantown, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Page Rehabilitation and Health Care Center of Ft. Myers, FL. She was born in Parsons, WV on February 20, 1915, a daughter of the late Ellis H. Cassaday and the late Alma J. (Himelrick) Cassaday. Ruby was a member of the Avery United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who had previously been employed with the former Morgan Shirt Factory. Survivors include her two daughters and spouses, Carol Jean and John R. Reaville of North Fort Myers, FL, and Joyce and Gerald T. Jackson of Cape Coral, FL, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William H. Miller; a son, William H. "Bud" Miller, Jr.; and one sister. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV on Friday, May 31st from 6-8 PM, and again on Saturday, June 1st from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM.
