Sandra Constantine

Sandra Lee Constantine, 73, of Star City passed away at her home after a brief but courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. She was born March 9, 1938 in Zanesville, OH the daughter of William Henry and Clorine Shreve. Sandra was a member of Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. She was a graduate of Morgantown High School. She owned and operated many businesses over her lifetime, most notably the Sandra Lee Motel which was located on Mon Boulevard, and Constantine Excavating, and Constantine Rentals. She loved her family and friends and lived her life to the fullest. She is survived by her husband of 50 plus years, John O. Constantine, her daughter Julie A. Constantine of Star City, her son Michael J. Constantine and daughter-in-law Lori A. Constantine of Morgantown, and her 3 grandchildren, whom she called âthe sunshine of her lifeâ Joshua, Ally, and Katie Constantine. Many others considered her a dear friend or a âsecond momâ. Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, from 1-4pm on Sunday, April 3. A Trisagion Service will be held in the funeral home at 3:30pm on Sunday to conclude visitation. Visitation will continue on Monday, April 4, at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church from 9-10am.
