Shirley Ann Smith

Shirley Ann Smith, 80, of Morgantown, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at her home.

She was born in Elkins, WV on March 16, 1941, the daughter of the late Robert and Rachel Belle (Jones) Green.

Shirley was known as a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Jerry Smith, her son, Chris Smith; her daughter, Lisa Ann Schrout and husband, Brian; four grandchildren: Chris Smith, Kayla Reynolds, Jessica Schrout and Isabella Schrout; two great grandchildren; and her three siblings, George Green, Barbara Wymer and Pamela Bowser.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by five siblings.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, on Tuesday, January 18th from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Robert Muster officiating. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will follow.
