Stephanie Marshalek

Stephanie Stanish Marshalek, 90, of Morgantown died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born on April 21, 1920, in Bentleyville, PA, a daughter of the late Joseph and Karoline Stanish.She was Roman Catholic by faith. She is survived by one son, Joseph Marshalek Jr. of Morgantown, WV, two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and James Fyock of Greenwood, SC, and Joanne and Robert Cooke of Gaithersburg, MD. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren Patrick, Gregory, and Melissa Marshalek, Christopher, Rebecca and Katie Fyock, Timothy, Paul and Philip Cooke, Daniel and Thomas Drvar and four great-grandchildren, Lillian and James Marshalek, Madeline and Alexander Fyock. She is survived by one sister, Helen Dwyer of El Paso, TX.In addition to her parents, Stephanie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Marshalek on April 23, 1996, her daughter, Barbara Kay Marshalek Drvar, on November 11, 2010, her brothers Edward and Joseph Stanish and one sister, Nellie Stanish. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St. from 5-8pm on Saturday, March 12, and from 12noon-2pm on Sunday, March 13. A funeral service will be held at 2pm in the funeral home with Fr. Ranjan Ekka officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover.
