Steven Clark Liddle

Steven Clark Liddle, 59, of Morgantown, died Monday, November 21, 2016 at home. He was born April 8, 1957 in Morgantown, a son of the late Herman W. and Ida Marie Thomas Liddle. He worked for 14 years as a UMWA coal miner at the Blacksville #2 Coal Mine. He retired from FCI Morgantown in 2013 and worked part time at the Morgantown Sheriff’s Department. In his free time, he was an avid motorcycle rider. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy Dailey Liddle; daughters, Amanda Chapman and her husband Chris of Colorado Springs, CO and Rebecca Kinsley and her husband B.J. of Morgantown; grandchildren, Haley Kinsley, Allison Kinsley, and Christopher Chapman; brothers, Gerald “Jerry” Liddle and his wife Sue of Lehigh Acres, FL, Allan Liddle of Morgantown, and William “Bill” Liddle and his wife Cindy of Morgantown. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by several aunts and uncles. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Sunday, November 27th from 1-3 & 4-6 PM. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 6 PM with Rev. Junius Lewis officiating. In keeping with his wishes, cremation services will be provided after the funeral.
