Susan Teets

Susan Kaye Teets, 69, of Kingwood, was called to heaven on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Susan was born in Kingwood on September 27, 1946, the daughter of the late George Henry Whetsell and the late Jessie Maxine (Moran) Whetsell. Susan loved quilting and doing crafts in her free time. She also enjoyed working in her flower garden, but most of all she enjoyed spoiling her dogs Candy, Angel, and Cheyanne. She is survived by her son, Tony Teets of Kingwood; granddaughter, Hannah Teets; sisters, Miriam Costello of Kingwood, and Donna Cricks of Lawton, OK; her companion Denzil Metheny of Kingwood; and nieces, Brenda Cricks and Christel Fields. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Ross Teets. In accordance with her wishes Hastings Funeral Home will provide cremation services.
