Terri Ward

Terri Bellman Ward, born June 8, 1964, in Morgantown, WV, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025.

She was a 1972 graduate of Morgantown High School.

Terri was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and William (Bill) Bellman; her husband of 43 years, Jeffrey Verne Ward; her nephew, Matthew Bellman; her great-niece, Alexa Harris; and four beloved fur babies who were truly part of her family.

She is survived by her brothers, Steve Bellman of Morgantown, WV, and Bruce Bellman of Snow Hill, MD; her stepdaughters, Barb (Mike) Kent of Chestertown, MD, and Jennifer Jordan of Keyser, WV; and her granddaughter, Charli (Charlotte) of Keyser, WV. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Terri was formerly employed by JoAnn Fabrics and Bill’s Laundry and Cleaners and was kind and friendly, able to talk “dogs” with anyone and everyone, all over the world. An avid dog lover, she especially adored German Shepherds and Alaskan Malamutes; her Malamute, Journey, was her loyal companion for 13 years and passed away just days after Terri, a bond that remained unbroken. She will be remembered most for her deep love of dogs.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alaskan Malamute Assistance League (AMAL) in Terri’s memory.

Friends and family will be received to celebrate her and Jeff at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Saturday, January 17th from 3-5 PM.
