Theresa Zizzi Angotti, 89, of Morgantown, passed away on October 18 at Mapleshire Nursing Home. Theresa Zizzi Angotti, 89, of Morgantown, passed away on October 18 at Mapleshire Nursing Home. Theresa was born in Morgantown, on November 4, 1927, the daughter of the late William and Rosina (Provenzale) Zizzi. Theresa is survived by daughter Rosemarie Angotti Geisler and husband, Tom, of Mt. Lebanon and son, John Angotti and wife, Shea, of Morgantown; grandchildren Patrick Marshalek and wife April, Gregory Marshalek, Melissa Joy Marshalek, Jessica Geisler Bisceglia and husband Michael Bisceglia, Andrew Geisler and wife Laurie Geisler, Alexandra Muchenik and husband, Tomás and Salvatore J. Angotti; great grandchildren Lillian and James Marshalek and several nieces and nephews. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, S. J. (Sam) Angotti and daughter, Joyce Ann Angotti. In accordance with her wishes, Hastings Funeral Home will be providing cremation services. Friends and family will be received at St. John’s Parish Center (old St. Theresa’s Church) on Friday, Oct. 20th from 4-7 p.m. Friends and family will be received from 1 – 2 pm Saturday, October 21st at St. John’s University Parrish Church until the time of the Memorial Mass at 2 p.m. with Father Patsy Iaquinta as celebrant. Inurnment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
