Virginia Mae Stevens

Virginia Mae Stevens, 92, formerly of Morgantown, passed away Monday, May 20, 2024 at Maplewood Healthcare Center. She was born December 21, 1931 in Grafton, a daughter of the late Cecil and Rose Ellen (Parsons) Hawkins.

She formerly attended Spruce Street United Methodist Church and worked 21 years at Mon Point (now Morgantown Healthcare Center), before she retired to take care of her husband. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed her cats.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Cuppett; daughter-in-law, Ruth Stevens; grandchildren, Stephen Cuppett and his wife Andrea, Michael Cuppett and his wife Kayla, Douglas Cuppett and his wife Annamarie, and Brooke Brownley and her husband Adam; and five great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Frederick Stevens; son, William Frederick Stevens; three sisters, and one brother.
