Wilma Eloise Rohr

Wilma Eloise Rose Rohr, 92, of Brookhaven, went to her Heavenly Father on Monday, September 21, 2026. She was born May 9, 1934 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Joda N. and Eunice (McCarty) Rose.

As a lifelong member of the Living By Faith Church, she lived her life as a devoted Christian and loving wife and mother.

She is survived by her son, Norman Rohr, Jr. and many nieces and nephews. She will also be deeply missed by her family and neighbors.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Rohr, Sr. and her daughter-in-law, Carol Jean Rohr. She was the last surviving member of her family and was also preceded in death by six sisters, Ruby Rose, Dimple Ferrell, Mabel Brown, Lena Knotts, Violet Poole, and Thelma Sovastian and four brothers, Raymond Rose, Cecil Rose, Joda Rose, Jr., and Kermit Rose.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Friday, October 2nd from 6:00-8:00 and again on Saturday, October 3rd from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Nicholson Cemetery.
