Lois Elaine Corbin, 73, of Morgantown, passed away on Thursday, April 4th, 2024. Lois was born August 22, 1950, the daughter of the late Roy Stanley Lemley and Lorene Lemley (Ammons). Lois was the office manager of the WVU Department of Anatomy for 26 years. During that time, she filled many roles including managing the Human Gift Registry program. Lois enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, shopping, and cooking. She is survived by her husband, James A. Corbin; children, Diana Beth Thomas (Curt) of Wadestown, Michelle "Shelley" Johnson of Morgantown; stepchildren, Chana Duley (Michael) of Morgantown, Corey Corbin of Bruceton Mills; sister, Jean Furman (Glenn), brother David Lemley (Ruth); grandchildren, Jackie Phillips (Zach), Josie Thomas, Ruby Johnson, Lorna Johnson, Colton Duley, Alec Duley, Elora Corbin; great grandchildren, Harper and Zeke Phillips, Ryder Stoneking; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Lemley and his wife Dixie, and stepfather, Charles E. Priest. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Monday, April 8th from 12:00 Noon until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Pastor Joseph Adams officiating.
